Thanks for your concern and good wishes....Hi Jack,

Thanks for your concern and good wishes. The Throttlemeister issue has been resolved. It's an add on and had nothing to do with BMW. All's well.

I'm looking forward to TN and lots of other places where our paths may cross!Sojourner's Moto Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02235661849993752840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-39485226482819285932009-04-22T05:27:00.000-05:002009-04-22T05:27:00.000-05:00bobskoot, I am thankful to have such good 'net bud...bobskoot, I am thankful to have such good 'net buddies who always give me great advice. I am trying to take it easy but as you've spotted, I'm a little "stubborn." But I am getting better each day.

Thanks!Sojourner's Moto Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02235661849993752840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-34121233261122311742009-04-16T20:26:00.000-05:002009-04-16T20:26:00.000-05:00Dear Sharon:

As you are aware, I was in the vicinity of your ride's beginning and kept watching the news for any developments (not tha I expected you'd make the headlines).

The bike looks great and seems to fit you perfectly -- again. What is this business with the Throttlemeister? Is this some automatic cruise control type thing? If so, can it simply be disconnected? I would have u-turned and gone straight back to the BMW dealer in Virginia, checked into a flophouse, and awaited the good news on my cell phone. It has to be under warranty.

I am naturally delighted to hear that you are back in the barn and also back on the road. I am looking forward to seeing you in Tennessee this summer.

Fondest regards,
Jack Riepe
Twisted RoadsJack Riepehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07531160098262862027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-2161698723518371962009-04-15T10:56:00.000-05:002009-04-15T10:56:00.000-05:00Sharon:We are thankful that you have Jessie home w...Sharon:We are thankful that you have Jessie home where he belongs. From your post it seemed to be a struggle at times, esp at night and alone, on strange roads and through your stubborness not to follow directions, and also while not fully healed. Take it easy. Perhaps you should have allowed 3 days for travel for a more relaxed ride and stopped more often to smell the roses.
Hoping for you to have safe travels during 2009 and keep taking pictures. I am also interested in Historic places and the history of places PAST.

bob
bobskoot: wet coast scootinAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05258612401956399482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-63988043470889134582009-04-15T07:39:00.000-05:002009-04-15T07:39:00.000-05:00Brent, thanks so much--especially for being part o...Brent, thanks so much--especially for being part of my support team!
