It's definitely an intriguing bike; I'd love to have one but I'm not sure I can fit another bike in the garage!Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04582046943770681695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-90614043635205084392009-11-20T17:24:51.229-06:002009-11-20T17:24:51.229-06:00Thanks! My car was also in great condition from sitting in the garage the whole time.

Wow, nice on the 22k! I've only gotten to about 19k in nine months between all three bikes. Most of it was on the SV.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06606446271603142230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-34611147669195888112009-11-20T15:57:40.693-06:002009-11-20T15:57:40.693-06:00Chris,

I loved my CRV, but I must say I don't miss it. Mint condition car with only 33,000 miles on it after six years of ownership. Heck, I've put more than 20,000 miles on the ST in seven months!Sojourner's Moto Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02235661849993752840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-65325869721649095772009-11-20T15:54:47.990-06:002009-11-20T15:54:47.990-06:00Stacy,

I've heard a few folks on the F800riders forum say that it throws off heat right where the thighs hug beneath the tank.

I've ridden in 90F and I've never been bothered by excess heat. Then again, I'm ATGATT and my legs/thighs are always protected. I can see where wearing jeans might make things a tad warm, which seems to be the ones making that complaint. On my Suzuki SV650, if I wore jeans it would also become too warm.

If you're considering the F800ST, test ride it. I am sold on this bike from top to bottom!Sojourner's Moto Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02235661849993752840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-3859400573559839082009-11-20T15:49:10.238-06:002009-11-20T15:49:10.238-06:00Mike,

I had a very similar experience in the last week with the weather and shocked people at a meeting.

I was forced to drive my car to work last week for the first time in nine months. I quickly became accutely aware how disconnected I felt from the road, the weather, and the rest of world. It was very quiet and boring! On the positive side, I finally sold the car!

-Chris
Everyday RidingChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06606446271603142230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32557834.post-1739964469878918572009-11-20T12:24:38.145-06:002009-11-20T12:24:38.145-06:00If you don't mind me asking, where's the &...If you don't mind me asking, where's the "heat problem" on the F800ST?
