But I live in the heart of th...Richard, I hear you. But I live in the heart of the city, so it's "normal" for me. I only need to ride about 45 minutes to get out of the city and all is well. But there is something strangely comforting about being able to navigate in all the hustle and bustle. U...I avoid cities like the plague when on the bike. Unless I can plan to arrive off hours. That traffic sounds pretty grim. Denver hotel prices do seem to be some of the highest I've run into as well. Maybe since they don't really have an off season.
